For me, there is a strange presence when deep within the Australian landscape. This presence in turn impresses and implants itself deep within the Aussie psyche.
I am awed, humbled but ultimately empowered by the forces of a landscape, which combine extreme violence and relentless cruelty with a soothing rustling gentleness and acceptance of all man’s attempts at manipulation.
